Plyometrics program consists of two different training parts – of fitness and athletics. It is designed to develop and improve your explosive and reaction power of upper and lower body.

Following this 4-week long training program is likely to result in improved efficiency of energy utilization in muscles, tendons and sinews, because of improved elasticity. Your body will be able to use its energy more economically. The length and the height of your leaps will increase, you will be able to reach faster sprinting time and your muscle reaction time during changing direction will improve. The program will also include a number of different ballistic exercises, which will develop the explosive power of throws and spikes – this will enable you to hit stronger and to throw the object much further. 

Depending on your training stage this Plyometrics program will include 3 to 5 training units per week. Each unit will last approximately from 60 to 90 minutes.

Athletics is fun, but it is also a very powerful tool that not many athletes use. So take the advantage and start using it!
